SOME USEFUL ADVICE FOR YOUR PLANTS FROM KOSTISGARDEN

 

A) BEFORE WE CHOOSE PLANTS FOR OUR GARDEN WE TAKE UNDER CONSIDERATION:

1) THE WEATHER CONDITIONS OF OUR REGION.

2) THE FINAL SIZE OF THE PLANT.

3) THE SIZE OF OUR GARDEN.

 

B) PLANTS IN POTS CAN BE PLANTED ANY TIME OF THE YEAR.

    PLANTS IN BARE ROOTS MUST BE PLANTED FROM THE END OF SEPTEMBER

TILL THE END OF MARCH, EXCEPT WHEN THERE IS FROST.

C) PLANTS WHICH BLOOM IN SPRING MUST BE PRUNED RIGHT

AFTER THE BLOSSOM.

    PLANTS WHICH BLOOM IN SUMMER OR FALL MUST BE PRUNED

 AT THE END OF WINTER.

 FROM GRAFTED TREES, ROSES AND FRUIT-TREES WE MUST CUT

THE SHOOTS WHICH COME FROM THE SUBJECT OF THE GRAFTING.

D) CACTI NEED A LOT OF SUN AND WATER DURING THE SUMMER.

IN WINTER THEY NEED PROTECTION FROM FROST AND WE ONLY

WATER ON SUNNY DAYS.

E) ALL OUR PLANTS NEED FERTILIZER FROM MARCH TO NOVEMBER.
